He is focused on the development of new work. This work centers on intercultural dialogue that engages the complexities of our shared histories and re-contextualized classics.
Jacob is the Artistic Producer at The COOP, a new company founded with Andrus Nichols and Kate Hamill.
Jacob has worked with The Shakespeare Theatre, The Goodman Theatre, Center Stage, Studio Theatre, Primary Stages, Folger Theatre, Woolly Mammoth, Mosaic Theater, The Cape Playhouse, and others.
In 2010, he founded the Plimoth Players, an original practice Shakespeare company at Plimoth Plantation in Plymouth, MA.
Originally from Wisconsin, Jacob holds an MFA in Directing from the Theatre School at DePaul University.
